Ayyappa Pooja
Ayyappa Swamy Pooja is usually performed by a person who is under vratham for one mandalam by wearing a holy ayyappa swamy mala. The first time devotees wearing maala and who is going to visit sabari mala is also called as “Kanni Swamy”.

Lord Ayyapa Swamy is the son of Mohini and Lord Shiva, the pooja for Ayyapa Swamy pooja is performed by invoking lord Ayyapa and then Chanting of mantras, namavelis and archana is also dedicated to him and the pooja is carried out by performing Padi Pooja by chanting slokas and lighting lamps offering the ghee to the lord.
